Monte do Vale Porquinhas is a small holiday resort with four holiday cottages, it 
      comprises a valley and several hills, and is situated at the foot of the Serra do Cercal in the
      West of the Alentejo Baixo district. It is close to the typically Portuguese seaside town of Vila
      Nova de Milfontes, where the river Mira flows into the Atlantic Ocean. 

      Despite a difference in altitude of 75 meters, including a waterfall called Rocha de Água de
      Alta of 32 meters which runs dry most of the time, the estate is mainly rolling countryside,
      and is surrounded by the hills of the serra. The vegetation consists of various species of trees,
      including many cork oaks, a wealth of herbs and – especially in March and April - a wide
      variety of wildflowers.

      It is an excellent area for guests looking for peace and quiet, hikers and lovers of nature, but
      mountain bikers, off-road drivers beach fans and those who want to go surfing in the sea will
      also find everything that they are looking for.
      There are plenty of places to enjoy the sun or sit in the shade, for the children there is space
      enough to play and there is always the swimming pool of course.

      To enjoy all this you follow the road, which becomes a gravel path for the last five kilometers,
      where you may encounter a herd of sheep or a flock of goat. At the end of this road you will
      be welcomed by the Dutch owners.
